Pour Canon EOS R et Nikon Z : Laowa 12 mm, 25 mm Ultra Macro et 100 Macro

Une série d’annonces de Venus Optics aujourd’hui, qui va intéresser les utilisateurs d’hybrides Full Frame en Canon EOS R et Nikon Z.

La marque Chinoise annonce en effet des versions de trois de ses objectifs Laowa les plus populaires, déclinés dans ces deux montures EOS R et Nikon Z :

Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D : world’s Widest f/2.8 Lens with close-to-zero distortion.

Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro : the most compact and versatile high magnification macro lens.

Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro : attention en suivant le lien : car la monture RF ne semble pas encore dispo pour ce 100 mm. Mais on a bien la photo en monture Canon…

Voilà qui va ravir les utilisateurs de Canon EOS R, d’autant qu’il leur manquait jusqu’à présent des options Macro en monture native… Il s’agit bien entendu d’objectifs à mise au point Manuelle.

Ce qui m’ennuie beaucoup personnellement : car j’ai passé l’âge de trouver du plaisir à faire le point à la main… Il faut dire que j’ai beaucoup joué à ça quand j’étais gosse, à la fin des années 70 avec mon Minolta SRT 101 ! J’adorais ça je me souviens de l’été 1979 notamment j’avais 12 ans (on se souvient bien de ses 12 ans en général). Mais je trouve en 2019, que cela aucun intérêt (en sois)… Mis à part économiser sur le prix d’achat de certains objectifs « secondaires » éventuellement.

Dire qu’il y a des gens que « ça amuse » de s’embêter à faire le point à la main : je ne comprends pas trop ;-) Mais les gens font comme ils veulent !

S’il fallait un signe de plus ( Panasonic vend son activité « capteurs » à Taïwan ) que l’industrie Chinoise commence à concurrencer l’industrie Japonaise dans le secteur de la photo : en voilà un de plus…

Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro

Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro is the most compact and versatile high magnification macro lens. It is optimized for macro shooting between 2.5X – 5X life size.

The lens is specially designed with an extended working distance (45mm at 2x & 40mm at 2.5x) and small lens barrel. It allows sufficient lighting on the object for easier shooting in the field. Comparing to other extreme macro lens in the market, this lens is a lot more compact and lighter. It also provides a greater depth of field.

The Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X is developed for both professional and leisure macro photography, to be used in the field or indoor set-ups. An optional LED Ring Light and Tripod Collar is available for easier lighting control and precision operation.

Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO

Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2:1 Macro is the 2nd member of Laowa 2:1 macro line-up. It features an apochromatic (APO) characteristic that both longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberration are invisible. This new 100mm lens can cover full frame sensor size and focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity. The lens has a similar physical size to other 100mm Macro lens in the market but its wider magnification range allows macro photographers to capture subjects at any sizes. This 100mm f/2.8 lens can also focus to infinity and serve as a portrait lens with exceptional optics quality.

Currently, Canon EF, Nikon AI, Sony FE mounts are available. The New Canon RF mount & Nikon Z mount will start shipping in Mar 2020 tentatively. MSRP in US is $499.
